Hulder of Norway

A dance of legends

A dance dedicated to the the splendor that is Norwegian nature and its mythical creatures. Performed under the Northern Lights or the Midnight Sun.

The concept is created in honor of the mysterious forest creature from Scandinavian folklore, Hulder (or Huldra). She is described as beautiful, helpful and elusive. She belongs to the people of the underworld, but looks human. The only way you can tell she is a hulder is if you happen to see her tail peeking out from under her skirts.

Be kind to her, and she will do you good. Be mean to her, and she will turn into your worst nightmare.

The performance can be seen outdoors under the Aurora, or indoors. For an experience out of the ordinary, contact line.pettersen@hotmail.com for booking details and prices.
